The third installment of the popular board game Blood Bowl was originally scheduled to launch on Steam Early Access this week. However, a recent announcement from developer Cyanide has pushed back the release date to allow for more polish and testing.
Blood Bowl 3’s Early Access Launch has been delayed. The new release will be released on February 27th, 2019.
Blood Bowl 3’s PC early access launch, which had been scheduled for September 2021, has been postponed, according to publisher Nacon and developer Cyanide Studio.
The input from Blood Bowl 3’s private beta session in July helped the game’s development team discover important improvements that might be addressed, but it also showed that the game’s original early access release date was “a little overly optimistic.”
The delay statement on Twitter says, “Our main focus is the quality of the gaming experience we will offer when the game launches, and we want to take ample time to accomplish these quality objectives.”
The early access edition of Blood Bowl 3 hasn’t been given a new release date yet, but we expect hear more “in the coming weeks.”
When the game officially launches in 2022, players will be able to choose from a roster of no fewer than 12 teams, catering to both those who like planning and those who prefer hitting things.
